Be respectful. Be kind. Be collaborative. Harassment of any kind is not tolerated. If someone asks you to stop, stop. If you experience or witness unacceptable behaviour, report it to the organising team at [email protected].
Our Commitment
We want GDG AI HACK 2026 to be a space where everyone can participate, create, learn, and have fun. That means building an environment rooted in mutual respect and shared curiosity. We expect all participants, sponsors, mentors, judges, volunteers, and organisers to uphold this code throughout the event, including at the venue, online channels, and any associated social gatherings.
Expected Behaviour
- Treat everyone with respect and consideration, valuing a diversity of views and opinions
- Communicate openly and thoughtfully, with the goal of being constructive
- Be collaborative and support fellow participants whenever possible
- Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants
- Alert the organising team if you notice a dangerous situation, someone in distress, or violations of this Code of Conduct, even if they seem minor
Our Values
These principles guide how we work and interact at GDG AI HACK.
We strive to be a community that welcomes and supports people of all backgrounds and identities.
Not everyone has the same level of experience. We take the time to help others learn and grow.
We think carefully about how our words and actions affect others. We communicate with empathy and care.
Disagreements happen, but they are never an excuse for poor behaviour. We address disagreements constructively.
We encourage questions, experimentation, and learning. There are no silly ideas at a hackathon.
The best outcomes come from working together. We share knowledge freely and lift each other up.
